☝️ ⁉️ It is known that the Kyrgyz ancestors were nomadic people. In the culture and lifestyle of the modern Kyrgyz, the influence of their nomadic past still can be traced. For many centuries they had been moving from one place to another in the endless expanses of Siberia, raising cattle, mainly horses. Being excellent riders, they constantly fought with numerous enemies but eventually left Siberia and migrated to the mountains of Tian Shan and Pamir, where they found refuge.
⛺️ The trekking area lies between the southern shore of the Issyk Kul Lake and the northern slopes of the Terskey Alatau (Ala Too) mountain range (central Tian Shan Mountains). The area belongs to the most beautiful and remote parts of Central Asia. This is the region where beautiful high mountains slope down to the very shore of Issyk Kul, an enormous freshwater Central Asian lake. Terskey Alatau Range forms a majestic wall that extends for 340km along the lake’s southern shore, separating this corner of the paradise from the rest of the mountain area with a severe climate.

⁉️ Ak-Saray Palace is one of the most magnificent monuments of the Timurids of the XIV - XV centuries, erected in the city of Kesh (Shakhrisabz). Amir Timur (Tamerlan, Tamerlane) directed the construction to himself. After Timur had already built a great number of palaces and fortresses in the capital of his land, in Samarkand, he wanted to beautify his home town Shakhrisabz with a palace, which has not been seen in all his empire yet. He called the most skilled architects and craftsmen from all over his possessions. Also, about 50,000 slaves took part in this large-scale construction. Ak-Saray Palace was planned as the most grandiose of all Timur's constructions.
